In 2013, we watched the world series, and I LOVED it.
Colter is the best of the Jonas kids because he is the oldest. I am the next best pitcher, but I’m not the best at catching. Emery and Fletcher are both moderate players, though Fletcher favors catching.
Dad grew up in New Hampshire and often drove to Boston. It was only a two hour drive which was great because he is a Boston Red Sox fan.
My favorite players are John Lackey, the Red Sox pitcher, and Dustin Pedroia, the second baseman. The reason I like John Lackey is because in the game we watched, he threw over one hundred pitches. The reason I like Dustin Pedroia is because when someone hit a low ball, Pedroia did an EPIC jump and made the catch. I thought there was no way he was going to make it, but he did!

I started playing baseball at every chance I got.
My favorite thing to do is pitch.
At our home church, a friend who is a Cubs fan, has a bunch of wiffle bats and wiffle balls. He also has a bounce back net and after church Fletcher and I practice at his house.
Most of the time I win because Fletcher is not as fast a pitcher as I am. I have a total of three grand slams because we play with ghost runners. A ghost runner is somebody that is not even there. Let’s pretend that Fletcher and I are playing baseball (just the two of us) and Fletcher is pitching. I hit the ball and I make it to first base. Since there is nobody to hit the ball next, we pretend there is a ghost runner on first base. Then I go to bat again.
If I hit the ball and get to first base before Fletcher gets to second base, the ghost runner is safe. But if Fletcher gets to second base before I get to first base, the ghost runner is out. As you can see, a ghost runner is just something that takes my or Fletcher’s place, so we can continue playing the game.
